How I would describe myself …

…in one word: unconventional.

…in one sentence: Renaissance man living in the wrong era.

…in detail: I am a techonologist, wannabe designer, and culture addict.

I love technology. Period. I love staying current on technology that’s coming out particularly in the US, Japan, or Korea. I loved technology so much, I slaved away four years of my life for a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineer (sidenote, I woke up and decided to pair the Engineering degree with an MBA). But, I’m not just your prototypical “lol”, “zomg”, Digg fanboy. I also like questioning about why companies develop certain products and why certain technologies fail.

I call myself a “wannabe” designer because I love aesthetics but I have little formal training. I just love the way things look/feel when they just “fit”. Currently, I’m in love with photography, typography, and interior design.

I am a culture addict (thus my love for languages). I love learning about cultures other than my own. In a way, it makes me feel connected with the rest of the world. Ever since I was a kid, I swore that I had some alter-ego that lived on the other side of the world that was just like me. 15 years later, I am still searching…
